Every August we lock arms with local companies and sponsors as we provide a backpack full of school supplies to over 200 local homeless students. We cannot have a successful event without people sponsoring a child. Join us!
Every year we adopt over 200 homeless children for Christmas. We have many people sponsor and volunteer to bless children with gifts! We see so many smiles, tears, healing and needs met with the prayer offered. God is so good!
So thankful and blessed to be able to put a smile on veterans faces and Thanksgiving meals on their table! Every year we partner with local companies and sponsors to help cover the costs and cook Thanksgiving meals for our local Veteran heroes!
During disasters including hurricanes, tornadoes or COVID-19 pandemic, AHF launches as a hub station for humanitarian aid and food distribution. We have been able to feed roughly 2000 people at a time during these disasters where we partner with local teams to bring cooked meals to communities. We also become a mobile food distribution site throughout southeast Houston. Thanks to local partners as well as the CARES Act with Farmers to Families, during the pandemic we have helped feed families at least twice a week in different areas of southeast Houston. We open prayer tents at the distribution sites and many families are touched through prayer. We have collaborated with ministries to bring aid to communities that have been devastated and where daily we have provided food, clothing, furniture, water and prayer.
AHF believes we should be a voice for righteousness in all the 7 mountains of Influence including government. A team of volunteers advocate for biblical beliefs locally in the City of Houston, at the state level and at our country’s capital.
AHF realizes that Christian hip-hop music is a powerful and effective tool of ministry as we continue to do what it takes to get people to the feet of Jesus.
We bring love and aid to an orphanage that houses 30 children in Carrefour, Haiti and an orphanage in Miguel Aleman, Mexico. We bring hope, prayer, bible lessons, medicine, baby formula, toys, vitamins, etc.
In honor of the legacy of their son Justin, Pastor Richard and Joanna Vega are digging water well’s in Justin’s name. As a student, he loved the mission field and serving the Lord. After a tragic car accident, we would like to continue his legacy for loving the nations for Jesus through digging water wells in Honduras. Each mission trip will bring water to a local village and give the opportunity of salvation of Jesus Christ to people that need to get to His feet.
